Stamford had the privilege of hosting the inaugural round of the Singapore International Schools Robotics Competition! We welcomed East & Dover, and the , where we competed in thrilling rounds of Robotics Sumo.

Teams programmed and competed with their robots to push each other off the competition platform. In the first session, teams from various schools joined forces, fostering collaboration and incredible mentorship opportunities.

Congratulations to our students Harlin, Jie & Jerome, who helped us to claim the top spots in the advanced category!

5th Grader Dragon Boating Trip

Our 5th Graders embarked on an exciting dragon boating trip over the past two weeks.

This experience was more than just rowing; it was a lesson in collaboration and working harmoniously as a team. They quickly discovered that a dragon boat can’t succeed unless everyone works together toward a common goal. It’s a valuable insight that extends beyond the water; a lesson that can be applied in other areas as well.

This experience sets the stage for reflection as they prepare for their upcoming field studies.

PTA Welcome Event

Our PTA Welcome Event was a huge success yesterday, with more than 500 parents in attendance!

The event kicked off at the Reagan Theater with our Superintendent, Dr Mark Wenzel, sharing a few words about the importance of our PTA for the school and community, followed by a brief introduction about the PTA and the PTA 2023-2024 board by Treasurer, Mudjal Vaidya.

Parents then headed to the Stamford Arena to browse the booth to find out what activities, events and groups they can participate in to connect with other Stamford parents and families.

Thank you, PTA and Parents, for your support. We are excited to build meaningful relationships throughout the year!

High School Clubs

What a resounding success at our High School Clubs Fair earlier today!

With over 50 clubs represented, students explored a multitude of opportunities amidst the hustle and bustle. From environmental advocacy with the Green Lions, to cultural exploration in the Chinese Cultural Club, the diversity of clubs reflects our students’ vibrant interests. Kudos to all the club leaders and members for making this fair a hit!

Our student orientation was a fantastic warm-up to the upcoming school year!

From the Early Learning Village to the Woodleigh campus, families and students gathered to meet advisors, division leaders, and fellow classmates. Excitement filled the air as they caught a glimpse of the exciting school year ahead. Beyond academics, families also explored the range of support and services available on our vibrant campus.

Just a couple more days to the first day of school!

Grade 5 Aviary Display

As part of their final Unit of Inquiry, they created birdhouses, complete with accompanying birds created by our Grade 1 through 4 students using different media and techniques. They have truly soared to new heights with this display!
