Co-Curricular Activities

Stamford American’s Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) Program is one of Singapore’s most extensive programs, allowing students to explore self-selected interests, develop independence and creativity, and truly personalize their learning journey

Catering to each student’s unique passion and talent, the CCAs at Stamford are organized into diverse categories, offering a wide range of opportunities for exploration, growth, and progression. These options—encompassing over 550 activities including 3D Printing, CAD, Coding, Fencing, Golf, Gymnastics, MUN, Radio Station Podcast, Robotics, and Rock Climbing to name a few — are offered year-round to students from Pre-K to Grade 12, through Lions Academies, After-School Activities (ASAs), Music Ensembles, Drama Productions, Sports Teams and, High School Clubs.

Activities offered by Lions Academies are progressive, with a high intensity of professional coaching, while After-School Activities (ASAs) are designed to be explorative, non-progressive, creative, and non-competitive, ensuring inclusivity for all. The year-long Music programs offer one-to-one tuition and group lessons in vocals and a wide variety of instruments, promoting musicianship and performing abilities. Drama productions and Sports Teams provide students opportunities to participate in school events and represent the school in inter-school friendlies and fixtures. Our student-led High School Clubs empower students with leadership roles, allowing them to design and run their own activities and contribute to the school’s vibrant culture.

We believe holistic education requires stretching boundaries, and that students should challenge themselves both as individuals and as part of a whole school. As such, over 75% of students participate in one or more CCA, and Stamford American encourages all students to get involved in the co-curricular opportunities available.

“I love sports and enjoy participating.”
